A former Real Madrid and Liverpool star, Michael Owen, has predicted Chelsea to beat West Ham United 2-1 in today’s Premier League fixture at the London Stadium.
He also backed Arsenal to defeat Norwich City at Emirates Stadium.
Chelsea defeated Manchester City 2-1 in their last match, while Arsenal won 2-0 against Southampton.
Providing his prediction, Owen wrote in his column for BetVictor: “West Ham was hoping for a repeat of the scoreline when they won Chelsea 1-0 back in November at Stamford Bridge, thanks to an Aaron Cresswell’s early goal in the second half.
“However, in Wednesday’s match, I think Chelsea will burst West Ham’s bubbles and come away from the London Stadium with a 2-1 win to heap more trouble onto David Moyes’ shoulders.”

On the Arsenal vs Norwich City fixture, Owen added: “I have always seen Arsenal of the last decade or so as a team who struggle against the big teams in the Premier League and who are also vulnerable against any team away from home.
“Their opponents in this match do not come any lower down the table than Norwich, and I cannot make a case for anything other than a resounding home win for Arsenal.”
The kick-off time for the West Ham vs Chelsea match is 20:15pm, while that of Arsenal vs Norwich City game is at 6 pm.
