Admitting you messed up

Admitting you messed up and ended up in an unfavorable situation can be a very bitter pill to swallow. But the truth is sometimes, it is your fault and no one else’s even if you keep pointing fingers at other people. You can’t deliberately do something and blame another person for the consequences so long it was consensual. You need to learn how to take responsibilities for your actions; no one can do that for you.
Admitting that you messed up means that you will have a lot to learn from the situation, and it will make it easier to deal with it because you have accepted you are a human being capable of making mistakes and that will make it easy to deal with yourself and your mistake in a much kinder way.
You have to learn when to draw the line between what others have made you do and what you did to yourself. No one is above messing up and to think that means you are putting yourself on a pedestal and punishing yourself for it.
It is okay to make mistakes. Stop blaming others all the time.
