APC Has No Plans For Igbo Presidency – Obasanjo

A former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, on Saturday requested the Igbo to be cautious of guarantees from the All Progressives Congress forward of the 2019 common elections.

Obasanjo who spoke at a stakeholders’ assembly at Ukpor, Nnewi South Native Authorities Space of Anambra State stated the APC had no plans handy over the presidency of the nation to the Igbo. He urged the Igbo to take their future of their arms by getting united within the 2019 common elections and make a mark.

He stated, “I urged you the Igbo to not permit anyone to relegate you to the background since you occupy a spot of preeminence on this nation. “The Igbo should bury their variations and work collectively for the actualisation of the Atiku/Obi mission of their finest curiosity.

Describing Peter Obi as a beacon of hope, Obasanjo requested him to achieve out to main stakeholders within the south East to drum help for the 2019 PDP presidential mission.
