The Nigerian Army has urged Nigerians to ignore the publication in circulation on social media on the purported Operation Positive Identification (OPI).
The Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col. Sagir Musa, mentioned that the Nigerian Army had no relationship with the so known as Bricks Company and its illusionary OPI.
Musa mentioned that the military authorities doesn’t difficulty press assertion by any firm, including that its Operation Positive Identification had no such abbreviation as OPI.
He recalled that with a view to praise the continuing operation within the North East, the military had an ongoing operation optimistic identification which is intelligence pushed, deliberate and focused operation.
“It’s not an unbiased operation however an integral and complimentary to Operation LAFIYA DOLE within the North East.
“The intention of the operation is to arrest all these terrorists fleeing or escaping the warfare zone/Theatre of operation to a secure haven or peaceable areas in Nigeria.
“Members of the general public are hereby enjoined to discountenance the hitherto faceless and mischievous Bricks firm and its alleged NA OPI,“ he mentioned.
