Madami representing Kakuri Hausa, Ward in Kaduna South Local Government of Kaduna State is to be charged to court docket for offences bordering on alleged legal breach of belief and misappropriation of funds to the tune of N11.eight million.
An announcement signed by Head, Media and Publicity of the Commission, Wilson Uwujaren and made obtainable to newsmen in Kaduna alleged that, “the Councillor approached one, Ibrahim Ringim Haruna, Chief Executive Officer of Pyramid Supplied Services Limited, a distributor of pasta merchandise, with claims that his council wanted pasta merchandise for distribution to its residents.
“Consequently, the corporate, someday in November 2018, provided merchandise value sixteen million, eighty thousand naira solely (N16, 080,000) to the suspect who paid a deposit of N5m, leaving a steadiness of N11.080,000.00.
“After supply of the products, he diverted the proceeds for his private use and refused to pay the steadiness as agreed.
“The suspect will be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded,” EFCC stated.
