Adamawa State has shifted its native authorities election to December 7, 2019.The native authorities election that was supposed to choose chairmen and councilors for the 21 councils of the state, was earlier scheduled for November 9.
The Adamawa State Independent Electoral Commission (ADSIEC) which introduced the brand new date yesterday mentioned the election timetable has been redrawn accordingly.
ADSIEC mentioned in an announcement that the postponement is “due to logistics and other problems the commission is facing.”
The assertion which was signed by the Executive Chairman of the Commission, Isa Shetima, indicated that submission of accomplished nomination varieties can be concluded on October 20-25.
