Passengers train derail in a forest close to Ilorin

Passengers traveling from Lagos to Kano in a train are having
predicament on the route as their train has derailed.
Mr. Anthony Odoh, a witness who is also a passenger in the train
said the train was traveling from Lagos to Kano and was derailed
today in a forest after Ilorin.
A lot of people especially women and children are trapped and
stranded, he added.
He said passengers trekked long distance outside the forest before
they could see vehicle to convey them.
Mr. Anthony appealed to Kwara State Government to find away to
assist the passengers especially women and children who are
trapped.
