A 19-year-old UPS worker from Connecticut suspected in the deadly assault of his coworker was arrested on Wednesday, police said.
Elijah Bertrand was being sought by authorities since the 28-year-old victim, Nathan Burk, was found badly injured in their UPS truck in Watertown at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to Connecticut State Police.
Burk later died at a nearby hospital.
Charges against Bertrand were not immediately announced. A motive in the alleged attack was unknown.
Police did not disclose what type of injuries Burk suffered. An autopsy will determine his cause of death, authorities said.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of our colleague, and are cooperating with the investigation,” UPS spokesperson Matthew O’Connor said.
