Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has condoled with the household of late Abubakar Tafawa Balewa’s household over the demise of his final surviving spouse, Hajiya Aishatu Jummai Tafawa Balewa.
The deceased died on Sunday, October 27 in a Lagos hospital on the age of 85 years after a protracted sickness.
Her funeral prayer takes place on Monday, October 28 on the Emir’s palace, Bauchi at 2 pm.
The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Mohammed in a press launch issued on Monday said that the Governor on behalf of the federal government and other people of Bauchi State commiserated with the households of the late Prime Minister.
The Governor described the demise of Hajiya Aishatu as an amazing loss not solely to her fast members of the family, however to the folks of Bauchi State and Nigeria typically.

The deceased left behind eight kids and plenty of grandchildren.
