Should a man be superior to a woman in a relationship or marriage-Justin C Kalu

In response to a video clip sent to me from USA to review.
It is about a Rev Fr from Nigeria teaching on the superiority of a
husband over his wife to his silenced members. Looking at him,
you will know he is ignorant and out of touch with the truth of
God’s Word. In marriage, a man isn’t superior to the woman.
Neither is the woman inferior to the man. Genesis 2:24 says, a
man be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. I love
the construction of that scripture, a man seperating himself and
joined to his wife. Looking at it, it reveals the essence and
importance for a woman to patiently build herself and wait for the
right man to come for her hand in marriage. Listen, there is no
justifiable reason for a woman to be desperate in relationship or to
a man. There is none! In reference to the scripture, he quoted
talking about the man is the head. It is seen in two places in the
scripture but he misinterpreted in everything in the quest to
manipulate women. Again, he didn’t read it from the context, which
is, Marriage—Christ and the Church. Ephesians 5:22-33, Wives,
submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is
head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the
Savior of the body. Therefore, just as the church is subject to
Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church
and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her
with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to
Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such
thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. So
husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he
who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own
flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the
church. For we are members of His body,  of His flesh and of
His bones. “For this reason a man shall leave his father and
mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one
flesh.” This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and
the church. Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love
his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her
husband. Another place, it appeared is in 1 Corinthians 11:3, he
misinterpreted, reading it out of context. Here Apostle Paul talks
about us imitating Christ just as he did. His focus wasn’t on
marriage and women. He was addressing conflicting issues with
the Church at Corinthians. Now lets take a look at what Apostle
Paul really meant with his choice statement, “The husband is the
head”. He looked at it in three different ways. First, the human
with the head containing sight, insight, the center of intelligence
and creativity, etc. Second is, leadership. Third is, responsibility.
All of these, fall on the man in marriage, not on the woman. The
woman has a role to play in creativity, leadership and taking
responsibility but the man has more to do.
