The Nigerian Air Force on Friday bombed a gathering venue of the Boko Haram commanders at Ngoske on the fringes of the Sambisa forest in Borno State.
The assault was executed by the Air Task Force of Operation Lafiya Dole fight plane after successive days of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance missions recognized the areas as housing some Boko Haram leaders.
The NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, mentioned in a launch that two buildings had been blown off in Ngoske by the plane, resulting in “the neutralisation of several terrorists.”
He mentioned, “The Air Task Force of Operation Lafiya Dole has obliterated a Boko Haram terrorists’ assembly venue and neutralised a number of of their fighters at Ngoske on the fringes of the Sambisa Forest in Borno State.
“The assault was executed following successive ISR missions, which recognized the areas as housing the Boko Haram management.
“The NAF, operating in concert with surface forces, will sustain its efforts to destroy all remnants of the terrorists in the North-East.”
