WE DON'T FIGHT CORRUPTION, WE SEEK FOR SOLUTION, youth tells Buhari.

If you wanted someone to enthusiastically and energetically
implement bad economic policies – Idiagbon was your man.
Murtala Muhammed was also like that; same applies to John
Magufuli of Tanzania and the guy running Customs.Even though
Buhari rarely ever sees a bad economic policy he doesn’t like; it is
doubtful whether he has the work ethic to implement these bad
economic policies to the letter. (I don’t know whether Nigerians
should be thankful someone like Idiagbon isn’t on his cabinet
today).Okay, let me get to an important point. Far too many
Nigerians are in love with the image of a swashbuckling “action
governor” – who is seen to be “gung ho” about “fighting corruption
and economic saboteurs”. But governance is intellectual work &
such men rarely ever think.I wonder what it will take for many of
us to understand that you don’t simply “fight problems”; you spend
time thinking about solutions to problems. You consult widely,
then you SOLVE them.
